Rehearsal Room Hire – Terms and Conditions 

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the hire of the rehearsal room to the Hirer.

By making a booking, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.  

1. Bookings & Payments

1.     Bookings are made on an hourly basis and are subject to availability. 

2.     The minimum booking duration is 1 hour. 

3.     All bookings must be made in advance via the online platform. 

4.     Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of full payment. 

5.     A booking confirmation will be provided via email. 

6.     Any additional time used beyond the booked period will be charged accordingly.  

2. Cancellations and Refunds 

1.     Cancellations with more than 48 hours’ notice are eligible for a full refund or reschedule. 

2.     Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a 50% charge.

3.     Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows will not be refunded.

4.     We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings in the event of emergency or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or reschedule will be offered. 

3. Room Usage 

1.     The Room is to be used solely for rehearsals or pre-approved activities. 

2.     You are responsible for the conduct of all people within your booking group. 

3.     The Room must be left clean and tidy. Rubbish must be disposed of appropriately. 

4.     No food or drinks are to be consumed near electronic or audio equipment. 

5.     Any damage to the room, furnishings, or equipment must be reported immediately. 

6.      Any costs for damage, cleaning, or additional time used will be charged accordingly. 

4. Health and Safety 

1.     You must follow all health and safety notices and emergency procedures displayed in the premises. 

2.     Fire exits must remain clear and accessible at all times. 

3.     Smoking, vaping, and the use of illegal substances while in the room are prohibited. 

5. Liability Waiver 

1.     You agree to use the Room and its facilities at your own risk. 

2.     Bad Bands will not be held liable for any personal injury or accident sustained on the premises or loss or damage to personal property brought onto the premises by you or your group. 

3.     It is your responsibility to ensure you, and all participants have appropriate insurance coverage, if required. 

6. Conduct
 1.     No sub-letting or third-party use is allowed without prior written permission. 

2.     Anti-social, aggressive, or illegal behavior will result in immediate termination of the booking without refund. 

3.     We reserve the right to refuse future bookings if terms are violated. 

4.     Please keep noise at a respectful level, especially when entering or exiting the premises. Persistent or serious complaints from neighbors may result in a ban from future bookings. 

 
7. Changes to Terms 

1.     We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be available at www.scarboroughbandroom.com 

By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions, including the liability waiver and security deposit policy.
